CCTV AI Surveillance

User Manual — AI-powered face recognition and attendance management platform.


1. Device Setup & Power-On

Before operating the system, ensure all hardware components are correctly connected. We provide this process in steps to help you prepare it.

1.1 Required Connections

Please complete the following connections before starting:

  • Monitor / Screen: Connect your display via HDMI/VGA.
  • Network: Connect via WiFi or a high-speed LAN cable.
  • Keyboard & Mouse: Plug into available USB ports.
  • Camera: Ensure cameras are installed and networked.
  • UPS (Power Backup): Required for continuous system working and to prevent data corruption.

1.2 Power On Process

  1. After all connections are complete, press the Power Button on the device.
  2. Wait for 2–3 minutes for initialization.
  3. The system interface will open automatically.
  4. Once the UI is visible, follow the operating process detailed in the next section.
Important Note
If power fails or OFF, they restart the device as normal. Also, please manually press the Power Button again to start the device.

2. Getting Started

2.1 Logging In

  1. Navigate to the application portal.
  2. Enter your registered Email Address and Password.
  3. Click the Sign In button.
  4. If your account is associated with multiple organizations, you’ll be prompted to select the specific Organization you want to monitor.

2.2 Dashboard Navigation

Once logged in, you will see a sidebar on the left and a top navigation bar.

  • Sidebar: Switch between Live Surveillance, Camera Management, Attendance Reports, Movement Logs, Register Face, Register Vehicle, and Camera Groups.
  • Top Bar: Displays the current connection status, your active organization, and your logged-in user profile.

3. Registrations

To enable facial recognition and vehicle tracking, individuals must be registered.

3.1 Register Face

  1. Go to Register Face.
  2. Step 1: Search for the employee using the platform integration search bar.
  3. Step 2: The system auto-fills their details.
  4. Step 3: Use a connected camera to capture their face. The system requires exactly 3 snapshots.
  5. Ensure you capture front-facing, left-angle, right-angle, and slight variations for maximum AI accuracy.
  6. Click Register Person.

3.2 Register Vehicle

  1. Go to Register Vehicle.
  2. Search and select the employee.
  3. Enter their precise License Plate Number.
  4. Select the Vehicle Type (Car, Bike, Bus, Other).
  5. Click Register Vehicle.

4. Camera Management

4.1 Adding a New Camera

  1. Navigate to the Camera Management tab.
  2. Click the Add Camera button.
  3. Fill in the details:
  • Camera Name
  • IP Address / RTSP URL
  • Port
  • Credentials
  • Location

Click Add Camera to save.


5. Camera Groups & AI Rules

5.1 Creating a Group

  1. Go to Camera Groups.
  2. Click Create Group.
  3. Select a standard Group Name or type a custom name.
  4. Add a description summarizing what the group monitors.

5.2 Adding AI Detection Rules

Once your group is created, you can add powerful AI tracking rules:

  1. Human Face Profile Detection
  2. Person Movement Tracking
  3. Animal Detection
  4. Vehicle Detection
  5. Helmet Detection
  6. Employee Arrival Alert
  7. Attendance IN/OUT Direction

6. Live Surveillance

6.1 Starting a Feed

  1. Go to Live Surveillance tab.
  2. Select your video source.
  3. Select an AI Rule Profile.
  4. Click Start to begin monitoring.

6.2 Monitoring Alerts

  • Recognized Faces (Green)
  • Unrecognized Alerts (Red)

7. Attendance Reports

7.1 Dashboard Statistics

  • Total Students / Employees
  • Present Today
  • Absent Today

7.2 Attendance Views

  • Present
  • Absent
  • Monthly
  • Vehicle Logs

8. Movement Logs

  1. Navigate to the Movement Logs tab.
  2. The table lists Person Name, Camera, Entry Time, Exit Time, and Stay Duration.
  3. Use search to track movement history.
